I joined the Insight Magazine staff in December 2020 in a nearly virtual environment. As soon as I joined the team I was tasked with creating spreads and photography for the latest issue that was to be released early January. This was my first experience creating published work and I was fortunate enough to have a large amount of creative freedom when it came to the artistic direction of the Winter 2021 issue—even getting to collaboratively create the magazine’s back cover alongside art director Ryan Almazan. With a large change in staff leadership, my time at Insight concluded at the beginning of 2022. My designs at Insight were bold, experimental and paved the way for the future artistic direction of the magazine.
