INTERNING AT SADIE WILLIAMS STUDIO…
As a part of my study abroad experience I interned with London fashion designer, Sadie Williams. Through this experience I was able to become more advanced in web design while also crafting my skills in hand-made design practices. Not only was I able to prepare Sadie for seasonal retail success, but I was also able to help illuminate the intricate details of her unique craft.
While modeling for her Mega Patchwork collection conflicted with my academic obligations, I hope to work more closely with the fashion week designer in the future.

SADIE WILLIAMS E-COMMERCE
In preparation of the holiday season in London, I assisted in crafting Sadie Williams’s web store; Filling her e-shop with detailed and re-touched photographic images of her up-cycled patchwork collections.

SADIE WILLIAMS PORTFOLIO
During my internship I was able to help reorganize Sadie’s website, differentiating her fashion collections from her collaboration projects. In addition, I was able to help create numerous portfolio webpages for Sadie, designing several stop motion gifs as an interactive element to her web presence.

SADIE + JOE ANIMATION STUDIO
As a concluding web design project, I was able to create a portfolio website for Sadie + Joe Animation Studios. Working collaboratively with Sadie (and on notable occasions Joe Williams), I was able to create a personalized logo, handwritten headline text, colorful web branding and website presence for the stop-motion duo.

SADIE WILLIAMS X YBB
Working alongside Sadie Williams brought many interdisciplinary projects to my field of vision—and to my enjoyment, several were intertwined with fashion design. A project Sadie and I worked on together was creating a silk-screen t-shirt design for non-profit, YBB’s Launch Event. Many illustrations for this project were hand drawn by the youthful pioneers of YBB. I had the task of contributing relative illustrations, handwritten typography, designing the layout for the t-shirt as well as preparing the file for final production.

SADIE WILLIAMS LUREX PATCHES
As a part of the design process, I was instructed to created lurex patches, notable elements of Sadie’s graphic up-cycled clothing collections. Through a unique and refined heat transfer process, I was able to help create multiple colorful patches utilized for Sadie Williams’s Mega Patchwork collection.
