THE RISOGRAPH: INFO BOOKLET
An infographic on the bold, colorful and essentric printing practices of the Japanese Risograph. The book itself was printed using a Risograph printer and highlights its distinctive design capabilities, unique to its process.
STICK + POKE: A ‘TYPEZINE’
A ‘typezine’ on the procedures, methods, tools and history behind stick and poke tattoos. A custom, designed typeface was created to mimic the intimate and intricate details of the tattoo style while also embracing red tattoo ink.
PRIMAVERA: FLORAL CARD GAME
After creating a typeface made from floral petals, I created the card game Primavera. The rules for this game are simple—players are given a floral letter, an incomplete song phrase and have the goal of guessing the flower associated with the popular pop song. The guesser has 3 attempts to guess the flower before switching to the next player. Each turn players can choose to receive 1 hint each turn—either the number of vowels within the word they are trying to guess, or the name of the song artist associated with the song phrase. The player with the most cards at the end of the game wins.
